Family
When things or people fail you,
family will never. Ever since I was small I was thought that family comes first
before anything. Strong words to live by in my family, but even families have
issues with each other. In the end we end up forgiving each other no matter how
big the issue is. My family always has its back through the tough times and
supports each other financially when one can’t afford to pay rent or food. My
oldest sister is always trying to start discussions for no reasons or tease me
for the smallest things ever. I simply ignore her because I try to always avoid
conflicts that will lead to nowhere and don’t want to cause a problem for the
commander and chief my mom. In Mexican families the main head of the family is
always the mother because the dad will never mess with her or else no food.
Whatever she says goes and she wins our respect not by just saying she is our
mother, but by setting examples to follow and work ethic that is admirable.
The dad is the enforcer and the
though one that shows love once in a while and supports financially, but over
the years the title of dad has been disgraced. My mom has become the commander
and the enforcer of the family. The titles can weigh on a single person, but
yet my mom has managed to overtake the task. The problem is that the family
starts caring more about money because money is very important to be able to support
a family that feelings are left out. Somehow we still have managed to have some
time to bond with one another. Although my family is busy all the time, we stop
at any given time to help or support each other.
The support of the family is one of
the most important things a person can have.
